Eating Disorder Family Support
£150 for a one-off 90 minute session or £420 for the full package 3 x 90 minute sessions
As well as working with adults, children and young people experiencing eating disorders, I also offer practical, compassionate guidance for parents, partners and carers in the form of my Eating Disorder Family Support Packages.
When someone you love is struggling with an eating disorder, it can feel frightening, confusing, and overwhelming. You want to help, but you're unsure what to say, how to respond, or how to support them without making things worse.
These sessions give you calm, clear guidance so you can support your loved one with confidence.
What these sessions help you with:
Understanding eating disorder behaviours
Responding without panic or criticism
What to say (and what not to say)
Reducing conflict about food
Supporting without enabling
Navigating mealtimes, binges, or body-image spirals
Knowing when to escalate to medical support
Taking care of yourself as a carer
Children and young people counselling
£70 per 50 minute session.
I am passionate about ensuring children and young people (CYP) have a voice. I look past behaviours to uncover the needs beneath, and support young people to communicate those needs in a healthy way.
Utilising various play and creative techniques, I work to help children feel comfortable to express themselves in a way that feels safe for them.
For all CYP counselling, I require a full 50 minute consultation with the parents prior to booking which is charged at the standard CYP rate.
Please get in touch for an initial consultation if you’re interested in counselling for your child.
How I work with clients.
-

Traditional talking therapy
I will create a safe, non-judgemental space for you to explore your issues. Utilising reflections, observations and gentle challenges, I will support you to gain increased self-awareness to help you find a path forward.
-

Sand Tray Therapy
Sand tray therapy encourages you to illustrate your personal experiences, emotions and relationships through the use of objects and miniature figurines within a sand-filled tray.
It can can enhance your self-awareness, providing valuable insights into your emotional well-being, ultimately promoting expression, exploration and resolution of various issues.

Eating Disorder Support for parents
After working with clients experiencing eating disorders, I saw a hole in the support available for parents and carers of those affected. As such, I have created a programme of support for parents as well as anyone caring for someone with an eating disorder.
The programme consists of either a one-off 90 minute session, or 3 × 90 minute sessions to provide practical guidance for how you can support your loved one. It will also support you to gain deeper understanding of what may be going on for your loved one.
I have also created handouts and resources to go alongside this programme of support.
This programme is hugely beneficial and can have great impact for those struggling with an eating disorder.

Children and young people counselling
I work with children and young people from ages 5 - 17.
I have a deep passion for ensuring children and young people feel heard, seen and understood and utilise developmentally approproate techniques to support them to express how they’re feeling.
Combining talking and play, I will support your child to express themselves in a safe way.
