A peak inside the caravan…

Going to counselling is a deeply personal thing. You need to feel like your counsellor is someone you feel comfortable enough to talk to, to eventually cry with, laugh with and share parts of yourself that you may not want to share with friends or family.

That’s why I want you to get a glimpse of the therapy room with me so that you know what it might be like to work with me.

Caravan counselling room in York

My counselling room, a beautifully renovated caravan, is the perfect representation of my counselling style.

I never want you to feel like you’re talking to a textbook. I am non-clinical in my approach and put a huge emphasis on the relationship I build with clients.

I often find that ultimately, my clients just want to be seen and understood. That’s exactly what I offer in my practice.

I don’t expect you to know the answers to your issues, sometimes you may not even know what the issues are, but together we can explore what’s going on for you and help you find them.

This week I have laughed and cried with my clients, sometimes at the same time! I promise it’s not as scary as it sometimes seems.

If you’re curious about taking the next step then get in touch for a free call to see if I’m someone you might be able to talk to.
